After School Program for IDD | RISE Services, Inc. Utah

Who Can Attend?

At RISE Services, Inc. Utah, we welcome school-aged children and youth from 7 years old up to 22 (or until they graduate high school). Whether your child is just starting grade school or preparing for adulthood, the program is designed to meet their unique needs and interests.

What Does the Program Offer?

Skill Building and Socialization

Participants enjoy a variety of activities aimed at skill building, building independence, and promoting socialization. The supportive environment helps youth explore hobbies, work on communication, and grow friendships after a day at school. The program provides a safe space where everyone’s strengths are celebrated.

Supervision for Working Parents

For families with busy schedules, after school supervision is critical. Our After School Program gives parents peace of mind, knowing their child is supported and engaged in meaningful activities each afternoon. Staff are specially trained to make sure every participant can fully access the program. These individualized supports are an extension of our mission to provide opportunities for and with people.

How Does Transportation Work?

Transportation is included! After school, RISE Services, Inc. Utah staff pick up participants directly from their school and bring them to our Opportunity Center. At the end of the day, staff safely take each participant home. Our convenient service removes the hassle of arranging rides and keeps families connected with our caring staff.

What Are the Staff Ratios?

We make sure that the staff-to-participant ratios are tailored to the needs of each individual and never exceed one staff member to three students. This allows for personalized attention and prioritizes everyone’s safety and well-being.

Funding Options

Families can access the program through DSPD Medicaid waivers or private pay. If you have questions about funding, our team is available to help.
