The day programs offer a diverse range of activities tailored to individuals’ interests and goals. These include arts and crafts, music therapy, cooking and life-skills classes, sensory rooms, technology skills development, social skills, health and wellness activities, employment skill building, volunteer opportunities, and supervised community trips to parks, museums, and local events. Yes, RISE Day/Opportunity Centers are authorized service providers for the Utah Division of Services for People with Disabilities (DSPD). We work closely with individuals and their Support Coordinators to manage authorized hours and ensure seamless access to our programs. We also offer private pay options for those currently without DSPD services and those on the DSPD waiting list.

Socialization is a core component of our day programs. Our centers serve as a hub where individuals can interact with peers, work on communication skills, and build a social network. Beyond the program walls, we prioritize community integration by taking regular trips to local Utah businesses and public spaces. This helps individuals practice social skills in real-world settings, fostering a sense of belonging and “Community First” inclusion.

RISE Day/Opportunity Centers operate Monday through Friday. Day programs are closed on Federal, State, and RISE holidays. These programs are designed to provide consistent, reliable support for participants while offering peace of mind for their families and caregivers.
